Why can't Teslafags wrap their head around the fact that the real future of electric cars is small and mid-sized affordable cars like Hyundai Ioniq, Nissan Leaf, and Ford Focus Electric, not niche "luxury performance" vehicles like Tesla S, X, and even 3?
why can't teslacucks wrap their head around the fact that the future of automobiles doesnt have to be electric just because elon musk says so
because they did and that's why the model 3 exists?

Hydrogen is retarded though.
>we have to use electricity or fossil fuel to charge hydrogen fuel cells
>fuel cells cost more per watt and less efficient to recharge than lithium batteries
>pace of improvement slower than lithium batteries
>somehow the future of zero emission cars according to a couple automakers who have bet on wrong tech, have fallen behind, and are just using PR tactics to scuttle companies who correctly bet on lithium battery packs and buy time to catch up on lithium tech

you should probably look up the drawbacks of fuel cells. it's basically electric but worse and with a worse infrastructure problem

You don't have the carbon footprint of making the enormous battery and disposing of it when it's done with a hydrogen car. They do still have a battery, but not even close to the size of a full EV's. They're still zero emissions too.

who would like to drive a car that can go hindenburg any time you turn the ignition key?
can't blame him

no hydrogen infrastructure.
there are like 3 public hydrogen filling stations in the USA and they are all in the same part of California.
you can't centralize hydrogen production and pipeline it like gasoline. so you have to build lots of regional hydrogen production plants.
a hydrogen filling station could lose a significant amount of the gas it purchased due to leaks and how busy it is not.
electricity on the other hand is everywhere. all you have to do is plug in chargers to existing infrastructure.

Tesla doesn't want to make luxury cars forever. They are making them as a necessity of surviving as new car company. They are moving to more affordable cars, see model 3.
