Is it wizardly to own a motorcycle?
Only if it's a KTM.
I just bought a scooter, which is pretty much the symbol of wizard status.

More wizardly to own a VW Beetle in my opinion

yes
it shows you don't care if you die today
Wizards drive dark purple Volvo 240s with shag interiors and an aroma of incense
Unless it's the /r9k/ kind of wizard, who drives a 2003 Camry covered in /osg/ stickers

A shitty used chinese 150 to dip my toe into two wheeled vehicles without spending much money. Figuring out that what I really want is a better scooter.

My helmet was more expensive than my scooter...
I like that it's actually able to keep up with traffic and it feels more like a motorcycle than a bicycle, but it handles like trash, looks like trash and sounds like trash. Trying to talk a friend into selling his Helix now.
Own? Not especially.
Ride? Fuck yeah!
Not as wizardly as the PT Cruiser apparently.

well, depends on the bike and car
my 13 chevy spark (smol) and 05 suzu sv650 (med) both make about 38mpg - 45mpg depending how enthusiastically I'm driving (and so far i haven't done much differently between them - maybe launching from lights harder and accelerating up hw ramps faster on the bike but that's about it)
