Mine made it to 253k miles and was still going when I sold it. It will treat you well, but take it easy on the gas if it's an automatic. And don't haul anything heavy in overdrive.

It is pretty fucking badass. It doesn't like when I give it the gas as the 7.4L (454) is set up for towing, but ut has so much torque. Unfortunately my oil cooler broke inside the radiator and it is not running right now.

Does anybody know the common issues with these cars? So far mine has had the CTSY fuse constantly blow ( from a chaffing wire somewhere), the back also takes in a lot of water when it rains (roof racks maybe?)

The LM7 in the GMT800s just trades off a little bit of low end power for a little bit of top end power. In an SUV I'd rather have the low end power of the SBC.
