If it is a regular cop driving the undercover car, they might have cited you. But if it is a real undercover cop, they have strict instructions not to reveal their faces. So he did the limit in giving you a warning and then he took off.

Fastest I've gone is 100MPH in my 1999 Crown Vic. But that's 100MPH on the speedo which I know for a fact is at least a few MPH low at higher speeds. It more or less felt fine, but I kept thinking "what if I lose a tire" or "what if I one of the many repairs that I did." I think my car had quite a bit more speed left in it, because 100 in overdrive was no strain at all. It would surely hit the 105MPH limiter with ease, but that's not saying much at all.

I don't go fast often because I do not have the money to deal with being arrested and losing my license. Plus my car is 20 years old and if something breaks I would die.

I'd do it on a track though.

Had my old mx5 off the clock (180kmh) more than once. Top speed for the 1600 is 208 or some equivalent zit on the face of 200kmh.
Road was a bit dodgy. Probably not the smartest thing I've ever done, but the buzz afterwards was p cool.
Still not sure how it manages that - the other two I've had have been limited (needle stops a little before 180) but this one doesn't. Still has the physical limiter too.
