Poorfag here would I be retarded to buy a Porsche boxter? They are quite depreciated in my area you can find a clean one with 100k miles for around 6k. Only problem is it's a fucking 20 year old German luxury car. How bad would I get bent over with maintenance and repairs? I could budget around 1k per year for maintenance and repairs would that be enough? Also I would probably only drive it like 3k miles per year it would be my second car.

Currently an auto tech in Texas had a customer that used to come in with an 86 Porsche 928 and we bent him hard.

I would be getting a 2000 era boxster.

You're realistically going to need 3k/yr in maintenance/repairs and you better have that banked because breakdowns will happen. Sports cars are not designed to be high mileage and the few shops that know how to work on it will absolutely hose you.
If all you can afford is a sports car, you can't afford a sports car.

So basically my only realistic option for a second sports car is a Miata or MR2 spyder? Fuark bros I want a Z3 or Boxster so bad but it looks like high mileage ones are a bad investment. This does seem like a steal though I might go check it out still https://seattle.craigslist.org/est/cto/d/1999-classic-porsche-boxster/6232827759.html

Man up and get a base trim 911. Boxsters are the worst Porsche sports cars.
What you want is a 996. Get on board while you still can.
