So I'm looking to buy a secondary track/weekend car, I'm looking to overhaul a 1998-2000 Subaru Impreza Coupe,
>Subaru EZ36 engine swap
>Garret Turbo
>5-speed manual tranny
>Coilovers
>18'' rims
>Big Brake kit
>Fuel cell
>Roll Cage
>Buckets or halos
>6 Point harness
Is there anything I'm missing? Or should I stop and kill myself for being a Boxerfag.
>EZ36
Why?

I don't want this to be another EJ25 build.

>Then drop an EJ20 in it. EZ would be too heavy on an already front heavy car.
Go fa20f or a ej20 jdm keep it a proper impreza engine.

>250HP
lol wat

That's factory running no boost. Some Australians made 320HP running 8lbs
Don't kill yourself for being a boxer fag.
I used to hate the UEL header sound... then this GC8 fell into my lap and I love it now, I hated on something without experiencing it.
EZ36 is pretty gay though unless it's just a street car.
EJ20 or EJ22, maybe sequential turbo's to reduce lag?
Hmmm, whelp thanks, guys.
I think I'll avoid Nitrous, and run with an EJ22.
I'll consider the sequential turbos so long as it won't break the bank.

Just had another question, what's your opinion on Cosworth parts? Worth it? or a waste of money?
Not going to kill a thread by starting a new one so ill ask heresince its kind of on topic. I have a 2003 WRX Impreza wagon with a boxer swap, STI intercooler, and a COBB stage two system installed that I puchased from someone wanting to get rid of it. What else can I do to my vehicle to improve it. This is my first car that I am able to freely modify (as its my first non-leased car) Im trying to teach and learn myself on mechanics so any suggestions will be awfully appreciated

Compound turbo not sequential.
Compound is one turbo feeding another.
Sequential is one turbo running low rpm then shutting off and the larger one takes over for higher rpm.

put an ej20TT from a liberty in it.

The JDM EJ30 with quad AVCS does really well when it comes to combating turbo lag.
