Maybe
>>17678895

could you repeat the question?
>>17678895

only if it's the base model
only if it's a pre owned diesel and stanced
>>17678895

only if you enjoy countless engine and electrical issues

Just want a new daily. My current car needs a few grand in repairs, is expensive to fuel, and is automatic.

Golf is a very cool car, but I would buy a Seat Leon. It's basically a Golf but is more sporty, more exclusive, and cost the same. And if you have money and you want a Hot Hatch, you can buy the Leon Cupra which has 300 HP for only 30.000 euros if you find a good offer.
>>17678895
no. get a civic for 3k or get something used that's actually good.
>>17678895

Seconding the cupra. The place I work at offers them as company cars, some great stuff if you get the DSG variant
>>17678895
You can lease one new, because you certainly shouldn't buy one used.

I'm in the USA, so those aren't options.

I like GTIs but I can't justify the extra cost when I'm just going to daily it anyway. Plus, I'd rather have a tan interior.
>>17678895
Yes. Very nice car. Punches above its weight in all categories.
OP here. What about a 328i E92? It makes me feel tingly.

Base Golf?
Ok.
If you want better one, buy GTI. Unless you have more money, buy Golf R.
