if it's exiting at the end like it's supposed to you have an exhaust leak somewhere
if it's while you're stopped it's hard not to smell it then sometimes, but while moving it won't get into the car unless it's full of holes in the hatch/trunk if vert

all cars without cats smell like fumes a bit but if you smell them from the drivers seat then you probably have an exhaust leak

mine has no cat, no leaks anywhere in exhaust, but the smell still wafts into the cabin its so strong. even makes my clothes smell

dont hang around in a garage or whatever for long if its running because it will make you sick

It depends. Does the dizziness get worse or better with the windows open? The straight pipe itself shouldnt be causing you to get dizzy. You'll definitely be able to smell the fumes but CO from the exhaust (carbon monoxide makes you dizzy by reducing your bloods ability to carry O2), but it wont be able to reach you in high enough concentrations unless you have some sort of exhaust leak that leads into the cabin.

This video is actually of a br/o/ who had an exhaust leak in his mr2 on a track day. The exhaust came into his cabin and eventually he passed out with the motor running. If the workers at the track had not busted out the windows can removed him from the car he would have died.

What I'll do is try windows up and see if smells still get in/ if i still get dizzy or not. If so, then ill get it checked for an exhaust leak.
