I live in flat bumfuck nowhere so I just drive out to the straight I feel like hitting, drive down it to see if there are any cars setup, and then rip back down it. doesn't really help me if a cop car decides to take a trip down it, but I generally do shit at night so I can see headlights from a couple kms away easy
