If you want to compare the rarest of the cobras to the TVR then you'd be wrong.

The Cobra Super Snake, of which only two ever existed and only one still exists today, was an 800 horsepower beast, that could go 0-60 in 3.2 seconds, which is faster than the TVR's 3.5s

The cobra also has a top speed of 190mph, you might think this pales in comparison to the TVR's 240mph, but really its a limitation of gears rather than power.

Both cars also weigh within 50lbs of eachother.
You wouldn't want to fuck with either car.

Bill Cosby almost killed himself in one... I guess that would have been a better legacy, poor guy.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gd4kszgcK9E

The other being CSX 3303 built for Bill Cosby. CSX 3303 was a 1967 427 street car retained by Shelby American as a PR car and then made into a Super Snake for Bill Cosby. Cosby's record album titled "200 MPH" attests to the fact of why he only drove it once before returning it to Shelby American. Shelby American sold it to S and C Motors in San Francisco, who then sold it to their customer, Tony Maxey. Maxey destroyed himself and CSX 3303 by driving off of a cliff and into the Pacific Ocean.

>put this literal creation of satan on the dyno
>dyno breaks
>measure each bank seperately and add the two together
>nearly a thousand horsepower
>uwotm8
>power-to-weight ratio of a superbike, 0-60 in 2.9 seconds, 240mph flat out, faster than mclarens effort and this was alll before 9/11 and the millenium bug was still in the news
>literally nothing can compete with this monster
>Peter Wheeler, northern monkey who owned the company takes the prototype home for the day
>gets a scardy boo boo and runs to his mummy because it's "too scary" and immedietly cans the project

fun fact, the racing version was slower than the road going prototype.
>>

the rest of his oversteer happy fleet was apparently fine to sell to everyone. He could have done what Ferrari did with the FXX and have a tuition package in the price.
