I think so, he's a good driver (watch the films about the races he has taken part in on youtube), he appreciates both new and old cars, he seems relatively unbiased and he puts out a whole lot of different content; anything from a Miata to a diesel BMW 3-series to the Chiron or the "holy trinity".

I do miss his longer films from his earlier days on Chris Harris on Cars or Evo (?). I think the 6-minute snippets that Top Gear uploads don't do him as a presenter justice, or the cars he drives for that matter.

If I were financially independent I'd tell him to quit Top Gear and resume his own youtube channel with Neil, and I'd just give them a good salary and the money they need to run that channel with the same quality it was being run before.

Tiff was always my man.
He or Tsuchiya, only Tsuchiya is a bit harder to understand, still good to watch him drive properly. I can never watch anyone other than a proper racing driver test drive these cars because otherwise I get frustrated at how bad they are at driving and how clueless they are about what's happening with the car.

He is the man alright.

On Chris, i find him more involved than Hickok, a bit more in-depth and knowlegeable. Hickok reviews are just a comfy grandpa shooting guns with some info sprinkled on top.
