Finding the original manufacture is going to be hard and they usually have a dozen or so let designs.

Easiest way, get something like a die grinder with a cut off wheel, a rotary tool with a little grindstone works as well to cut a notch, then take a chisel and hammer, open up the nut with damaging the threads underneath.

Either use something like the Irwin extractors on the left or the Snap-on locking wheel nut remover on the right. The Irwin extractors seem to work best but you need to make sure it's well seated onto the nut before you apply torque or else they just chamfer the end of the nut
