how bad of an idea is a twingo with a 4cyl motorbike engine in it?

It's a pretty good idea, especially if you're using a 1000cc supersports bike. However, fabrication and such will be a bitch, so it's probably not worth doing in a Twingo. You might as well use something a bit mroe iconoc like a classic Mini or Fiat 500. Hell, there's kits out there for installing an R1 or Hayabusa engine into a Mini.

Not getting a Fiat 126p.

Also, I'd prefer to swap a Twinair into one of those, instead of a motorcycle engine. Seems a lot easier to me.

On the contrary, putting it into something more iconic will get a lot of people bitching about the car being RUINED BECAUSE IT'S NOT ORIGINAL.
Most people couldn't give less of a shit about Twingos so anything goes, and on top of that they're dirt cheap.

On the contrary actually, engine swaps in these small classic city cars are actually quite well accepted. Hell, Abarth and JCW started there for a reason.
It'll still cost the same: a cheap chassis for both options is pretty similar in price when you compare it to the cost of fabrication work.

lmao, fukken saved
good idea if you want to race that shit, bad idea if you intend to daily it.
those engines lack bottom end power so you'd constantly have to rev the living shit out of it to get from signal to signal
Even better. Mazda 20B swap and with a spoiler like pic related to give it TWICE (2x) the \\DOWNFORCE// of snek will make this the fastest car to lap the burgerking, I GUARANTEE it.

Bike engines in cars are fucking retarded they don't make any torque. You should get a turbo k24 instead.
>not putting a Clio 182 engine in one
>They are cheap and at 182 HP are more powerful than most bike engines and have car gearboxes with reverse, as well as usable torque
>It's a straightforward swap and the engine is NA so no need for space for a turbo and intercooler.

>I GUARANTEE it.

How do you propose to go backwards?
You'd be better off swapping in a car engine that makes similar power, because it will make much more torque and have a conventional gearbox.
