Hello all, I have a 2002 Ford Mustang and the fuel filler neck is rusted out

New ones are about $80 plus another $50 to have it installed so I'm not too keen on doing that

Do you guys know any sort of sealant/tape adhesive that is gasoline proof? Preferably one that can be found in local Home Depot/auto parts store?

Pic related it's me when I found out my fuel filler neck was leaking.

Gasoline is a solvent. Its gunna dissolve almost any sealant you try to use. Do not fuck around and nigger rig any components to your fuel system. You will burn to death or at the least destroy your car. Either learn to do it your self ir come up with the money. Its not even alot to be charging for something like that

JAILBAIT WELD

Is J-B Weld resistant to water and/or gasoline? When fully cured, J-B Weld is completely resistant to water, gasoline, and about every other petroleum product

Why would you post like that? Like something off the jbweld Website FAQ page? Are you real? Also fuck that. Just buy the right part and swap out the bad one. It is not hard.

Why not just get a roll of duct tape instead? Is duct tape resistant to water and/or gasoline? When fully applied, duct tape is completely resistant to water, gasoline and just about any other petroleum product.

C'mon man, don't do that. What would your grandparents think? Would Santa Claus put you on the nice list for that post?
