You fucked up not going Neon. Also get some fucking safety rims before you kill yourself. I can't tell what seat that is bit you better have head restraints. Good Luck.
im /racecar/. going out on track next saturday

neons at lighter but still a bit slower than this also we have to run stick rims
Just ran my SHO in a 75 lap enduro last night, blew out the RF with 20 laps to go, was in 4th out of 21. I knew the shit douglas extra tracs on all 4 corners would do me in but I ran out of time to grab anything better. I'll have it out again next weekend.
>i had my first race last night and it's an under statement to say that i'm hooked
It's addicting as fuck isn't it? I run 4-6 enduro's a year with a few demo's mixed in along with flagpole races and boat/trailers races.

Is this hornet dirt track racing?
>>17631688
not quite hornets ours just a fwd class so proper cages etc.
There is sunfire/cavalier club racing here Ive always wanted to try. They dont even require a cage, the rules literally dont even allow any mods other than weight reduction, intake, and exhaust. Also only 2.2's allowed, no OP 2.4s (lol)
Looks like a cheap way to get racing.

Im not /racecar/ but I can say I have had plenty of experience in kart racing.
Never went pro, just a hobby but im itching to go to the track again and hop in a kart and just do 40 laps just for the fuck of it.

that's pretty much our rules I had a z24 cavalier with the 2.4 but the engine was trashed sadly would problem smoke everything on the track

What I do is below hornet class, just bonestock FWD 4 or 6 cyl enduro. Pull the glass, lights, interior, add a drivers door bar and seat bar, and have at it. The two main tracks I do are paved, but there's a dirt track by me that has a hangover race every Jan 1st, 4, 6, 8 cyl class, FWD or RWD, same rules essentially, lots of fun as well. It's fun to buy a $200 shitter off CL, strip it, race it, demo it, then scrap it for $200.

There's a guy who usually races at my track in a quad 4 5sp sunfire that is pretty damn quick.
I just finished off my old quad 4 auto Grand Am last month. Was a decent car, got 4 enduro's, a flagpole race, and a demo out of it. 10th out of 33 in it's final race which won me back my entry fee.

Not really here in greece.
The other day I found a used kart for only 1000 euros, but it was beat to shit. It was a shifter too.
Neat little machines.

I have also tried dirt bikes and it was so fucking cool.
Just fuckin dirt everywhere and zooming and jumping around in the mud.
