So here is my idea for American version of Initial D:
>takes place in a small city neighboring a large fishing lake
>road going around lake is steep and curvy at some points, while long and straight at others
>main character is high school aged, drives an 88 Firebird, later gets a Foxbody Mustang from his dad, gives firebird to his sister
>dad is a semi retired circle track racer, owns a pizza shop that secretly sells moonshine on the side
>pizza shop has special delivery car used for pizza/moonshine delivery (mustang, later HHR SS)
>Best friend is a goofy poorfag who buys a Buick Roadmaster becuase muh v8, but doesnt take into account the pigfat (improves the car regardless)
>Both work at pizza place, main character tasked with delivering moonshine at exactly 11:35 each night to the opposite side of lake
>other friend is a weaboo that illegally imports a r34, gets seized and crushed, he later buys a Civic SI
>rich antagonist has a 300zx twin turbo
>other opponents include Bmw's, Newer Mustangs, Civics, Miatas, Camaros
>Season finale has main character lose mustang in pink slip race against rich antagonist who borrows his fathers Viper ACR
and that is what I have so far, rate it fags
