It's actually a really intelligent car. Seats six, lots of interior room and clever storage, great visibility. It only looks like a complete abortion. They at least somewhat fixed the outside with the 2004 facelift, and built it all the way until 2010.
>>
>>17618240
>and built it all the way until 2010.
if it was built for so long it must have been a decent success

Stop bullying the Multipla, it's one of the /o/ approved cars.
>>
>>17618139
The Multipla is what happens when designers sacrifice looks for pure practicality.
The visibility is great, ergonomics are top-tier, the interior is ridiculously versatile and it's not even horrendously unreliable like you'd expect a Fiat to be.

>>
>>17618139
It's actually a great car, except for the looks. Read some reviews.
>>
>>17618483
Not knocking DOHC, just knocking Audi.

Seriously, how the fuck do you make a DOHC V8 with five fucking valves per cylinder with a displacement of 4.2 liters, that somehow manages to be BIGGER IN EVERY DIMENSION than an LS, and heavier despite both being made from aluminum, and doesn't even break 100hp/l?

>>

Just get a minivan. Its the end already.
>>
>>17618539
Fair enough.
The 40v is a piece of trash but you can't deny the 4.2 FSI is a work of art, even with it's monstrous timing chain.

Most front seat bench cars I've ridden in made in the last 30 years all seemed to have a center seatbelt. I can remember riding in my mom's Buick LeSabre in the front middle, several times when I was a little kid.

The exterior vehicle size has suprisingly little to do with the interior space. I've just googled an extensive test on second row space for three child seats and among the smaller models with decent space were the Toyota Verso, the older Nissan X-Trail, all those dogcatcher vans like the Citroen Berlingo and Renault Kangoo, and surprisingly the Dacia Duster.

And yes, those are offroad lights integrated into the optional bigass roof rails on the X-Trail.

>fucking burgers are so desensitised to power its funny. then again, the GT86 isn't for America's lifeless roads
>>
>>17618557
Even then it's bigger and heavier than an LS, for only 2/3rds the displacement, and already stressed to the max so it's basically impossible to get any more power out of.
It sounds nice and probably feels great once you get up high in the rev range (where the power is) but it's pretty bad otherwise.
