Fair number of fix-it tickets when I was younger. only one moving violation, 87 in a 75 crossing North Dakota. Cop put it down as 85, as >10 over is a much bigger fine. Speeding tickets in New York have a $300 maximum for the first conviction, plus local courts can up the fine of anything by up to $93 for processing/court fees. So you're at $393 for the ticket alone.

Any speeding ticket where they're claiming 20mph+ or more over is considered grounds to increase insurance right away (for lesser speeding, 3 or more occasions is enough if it's under 16mph per offense).

My local court/PD has a huge chip on their shoulder from the state trooper station being in our town. Basically, you don't have the tactic of showing up and not expecting to be railroaded, or moving the court date and expecting the cop not to show up 2 minutes away from his station.

New York is a liberal shithole and they use ticket revenue to line pockets and yet we are STILL BROKE.

Me being a genius stopped on the merging ramp for the connecting highway. Pig was so scared that he ran up on the other side and told me to GTFO. I ran a red light and got away with it.
