I have an original VW battery from 2005 that is still going strong after 12 years, most reliable battery I've ever seen

A car with a fucked electrical system so it kills your battery every time winter rolls around. So you gotta change your battery in December/January in -30 temperatures but it's okay because the previous battery died while under warranty and it always dies under warranty so you get 5 car batteries for the price of 1 in the span of 5 years.

Same here, but with the stock SAAB battery from 2003.

My stock Volvo battery (no idea what's the actual brand) went strong for 8 years, then I replaced it with a new GM (ACDelco) battery coming from warranty shenanigans from a Cruze that my old boss gave me and it didn't even last 2 years.
Got a shitty Norauto battery now (no idea of the brand) because the GM one left me stranded and Norauto was the only place close by. It's been one year, we'll see if it goes on more than the ACDelco one.
