Mine is a pile of shit
Mysterious oil leak started again out of no where
Weird power in 1st and 2nd gears
Staying out of boost as much as possible, fearing blown motor.

What are you going to do about it? Rebuild?
I've had mine since February and I'm looking forward to when it snows so I can dipsy doodle around everyone else

What did GM mean by this?

I went on an interview today and one of the guys I met was the COO, not a huge company but still he makes bank. Figured out he was a car guy and I start asking him about his he unironically has both of these cars and they were the first two that came out of his mouth, it was hard not to laugh. Says be likes the vette more.
>MY18
>STILL doesnt have the new fucking engine in it
what are subaru DOING
>>17609376
Coasting on past success till it kills the brand just like Mitsubishi and the evo

Going to actually look for the oil leak,
I'm going to data log it, do a compression test, and hopefully see that it is okay.
Very fun car but tired of it getting 12mpg, leaking oil, and being worried it isn't gonna start every time i go somewhere.

>still faster than the focus RS (/o/'s favourite thing to circle jerk to) to 60 and the 1/4 mile
>the best AWD you can buy on the entire market
please tell me what they're doing wrong? i know the engine is outdated, but it's still the ultimate car in its class for having a giggle.

Nissan seems to be doing fine doing that. The VQ35 came out in 2002 and is just a revision of the VQ30 from 1994.

>VK56- 2004-, minor revision in 2010 to add direct injection
Basically their whole lineup except the crossover garbage is long overdue a total redesign. Literally the only old thing Subaru is reusing is the engine in the STi, everything else is new from the last few years. Pick on someone your own size, while Subaru is growing rapidly they still sold fewer cars combined in 2015 than Chebby sold Silverados. The money coming in from their 582000 cars in 2015 is much less than Nissan's 1,484,000.
The Levorg has a 2.0 turbo FA series in Japan that makes about the same power as the EJ257 though, don't know why they won't put that in a car over here.

I'm actually super worried that the value of my '17 STI is going to absolutely plummet (due to the huge amounts of them that will flood the market) when the new STI engine comes out, and I won't be able to sell it.
>>17609656
Wont that be in 2020?
is it gonna be that 2.4?
>>17609778
Yeah, I bought it and am planning on getting another car in 3 years
But with everyone trading in their cars at once, I'm sure the value will plummet for the 2.5
