There have been many times where I notice the engine is more powerful and responsive than when I last drove it. The most frequent scenario is immediately after filling up the gas tank.
you're a normie harry

You feel good, so you perceive what you did as yielding favorable results.
Perhaps you have a weak fuel pump.
Maybe you have a lot of impurities in the tank that gets knocked around when refueling before gradually settling in and going back to clogging the fuel pump.
Maybe your fuel is colder after you've filled up

Thanks for proving to me once again that /o/ is a horrible place full of morons who know absolutely nothing about cars!

This is a possibility, but as >>17605054
Said, your fuel is pumped from the bottom of the tank, so the more fuel in the tank the more pressure there is on the fuel at the bottom.

Fucking simpletons don't understand how modern fuel injection works. Holy FUCK
>>17605024
i feel the same, I also wondered if it wasn't just placebo effect

I feel the same but I never cared to ask because of dipshits like >>17605087

I think you're the retard. My car noticably idles differently when I'm almost out of gas. It surges and fluctuates and when I fill up it doesn't do that and I feel like I also get more response. Given, it is 30 years old and has a pretty "aggressive" tune, so that could be why.

I know ive seen cars where the factory fuel pressure was supposed to be say 55psi but they varied between 40-60psi depending on how much fuel is in the tank

OP never stated what the car is.
