I need a mechanical assistance!!

My car has a 88 305 tbi and it loses oil pressure when It warms up. What could be the problem? I have replaced the oil pump because it went out then it started to do this.

Your engine is worn out. Time to throw out that awful 305 and put a 350 in there.

blowby through the oil sending unit. it's near the oil filter. there should be ....3? wires going to it.. prepare to replace the pigtail as it's going to break apart.

all the SBC TPI motors have that problem.

the 350 will likely see the same fate as the 305.. it's not a big deal, just replace the damn sending unit..

Find a carb 350 and put that in, seriously you can get one anywhere. TPIs had a neat looking intake manifold but they were wacky and had some odd issues. You could probably get a 350 for like $100 running and ready to go.

better idea.. find a vortec 350, throw a high rise and a carb on it and make 350hp all day on the stock cam.
