I think GRC are more powerful because of the races layouts. I think this year's GRC Subarus are at 600hp and the Fiestas at WRC are at 380hp.

I have a 2004 WRX.

my mechanic who is supposed to be the Subaru specialist in my city that everyone online races on about and highly recommends.

he told my changing the water pump during the major service is nothing but a meme and that I should be more worried about changing the idlers when you do the timing belt

is he right about this? he says the water pump should pretty much last for ages and that the only reason people meme it online is because they sell aftermarket chink shit ones.

what are your thoughts?
