Hey /o/, lugnut anon here again. I was trying to get rip of the sap on my hood with isopropyl alcohol and ducked up; now there's these giant splotches. What do? How do I not repeat this failure.
1. New paint for 5000000$?
2. Isopropyl the whole hood?
3. Fuck it, finish getting the sap off this way for a consistent fuck up?

Who the fuck told you to use isopropyl to clean sap from car paint? Brake fluid, sandpaper, and atomic bombs removes sap too, but it will wreck car paint. Just because something removes sap doesn't mean it should be used due to its viciousness on clear coat.
Car detailers sprays such as Turtle Wax ICE Detailer and Meguiars detailer remove sap from hoods and the sides of cars. They are made to not damage paint and have a bit of both wax and solvent to maintain lubrication as long as you don't press hard with a microfiber.
Before spraying, I dust the car to remove excess grainy dust. Then I spray the turtle wax detailer and wait a little bit before wiping. I know it works because the sap bumps are gone.
