I've noticed that afrer driving around for awhile, I start to get really bad headaches. Would driving with shades on help? I really don't like wearing shades but I'm not sure what else to do. Tints are illegal in my state.

Is it hot outside? Are you dehydrated?

Probably but even when I drink a shitload of water it still happens. I even tried not drinking coffee and it still doesn't help

Do you ever get bad headaches without driving? For me, driving only aggravates a headache that was already in the works due to my sinus headache/migraine triggers. If I feel a headache coming on, I take an Excedrin or just Acetaminophen 250-500mg depending on what I have on hand. It can prevent it from progressing further.
When's the last time your eyesight was checked?
Try shades, if they don't work you'll know and you can stop wearing them.

Came in to say this, my mom complained of the same thing when she got her 2013 Explorer. Turns out just enough exhaust was leaking into the cabin that it would cause her to have headaches, but not enough to cause serious CO related damage.
Order some CO detection strips like they use in aircraft and stick those in your car. Maybe even carry a CO detector, but the strips are more accurate at detecting trace amounts of the stuff.
