In that order.

Open face doesn't protect your jaw. That in itself won't result in severe brain injury, but I presume you like to eat your food, not suck it through a straw. So, if you like your mandibles, get a full-face. Not the flip-open models either, those don't offer the best protection either.

The Scout isn't the most conventional looking cruiser. It's brute in a lot of ways with its angular shapes and dark theme. So I'm thinking you should look for the same characteristics in a helmet to find one that fits it. Biltwell Lane Splitter or something.

You can literally die from infections stemming from road rash, and given that hospitals often have strains of antibiotic resistant germs floating about, its likely you would catch something.
