True god machine
Lee iacocca's Godmachine
Ford never was sure what the Thunderbird was supposed to be. Well, they're not quite sure what the Mustang is supposed to be either, but I guess they can only make one car try to do it all.
Ford's actual luxo godmachine was the Mark VIII. Basically a detuned Cobra.

Mark VIIIs are so, so ugly, though, especially in comparison to the Mark VII. Plus don't they have all sorts of electrical gremlins?
>>17576989
Oh, and four-way air ride that'll need replacing as well.
>>17577000
The air ride is one of its gimmicks. It lowers the car at high speed.
>>17576985
bruh I got mad respect for these
every time I see one its already slammed using nothing but oem
just needs wheels and tires
>>17576989
>electrical gremlins?
Never heard of any, the Mark VIII is also lighter than the VII, and they both have the air ride suspension, but like >>17577009 said it automatically adjusts at speed as opposed to the VII, it's a better overall car than the VII, and that interior is fucking amazing for 90s Ford
>>17577009
I've heard many a tale about the required replacement of air shocks on the Town Cars and just wouldn't expect FoMoCo to magically make them last longer on a T-bird platform mate as opposed to the flagship luxury sedan.

The VII just looks so boxy and boner-inducing, though. I guess it's something like the Z31 vs Z32 300ZX where the latter model is 100% objectively superior to the older model but some weirdos like the older ones for aesthetics alone.

I hear you about the looks, to me though the VIII with the Terminator front end is the tits
>>17577192
Now it somehow looks even worse. Those gigantic holes just don't mesh with the sleek front end.
They're neat I guess

Are you retarded?

No, are YOU?

God couldn't design something so ugly
