I have a new, all stock, Chevy SS(6M), which is pretty much the same thing, and my best friend has a 2016 Mustang GT(6M) with an intake, borla exhaust and a tune. I kick his ass every time we race, whether is up a mountain road, or just a straight up drag race. They're both pretty fun cars though.

I'm surprised a GT with bolt ons would lose to an SS off the line. The SS has less horsepower and an extra 300 lbs.

I was as surprised as you are. The SS just hooks up a lot better. The Chevy has a pretty good launch mode. He has a hell of a time with wheel hop. Once we're moving he's just as fast as me, but by then I'm already 2 car lengths ahead of him.
