The W215 is mostly aluminium with magnesium and plastic bits - the front inner wings, sills and other bits are steel and they were well protected. I get the occasional electrical glitch which is generally fixed by turning the ignition off and back on to reboot the various computers. The big issue is the hydraulic suspension because it's big money when (not if) it shits the bed.
