1. Has to have the interior luxury, ride quality, safety, and prestige of a European brand like BMW/Benz
2. Can not be as unreliable or have as poor of value retention as a BMW/Benz
3. Would consider a Volvo or Volkswagen if there was objective evidence that it's on par with the Japanese big four in terms of reliability and maintenance-ease
4. Needs to be the same size or smaller as a Mazda3 hatch, WRX STI, Type R, CT200H, or Golf GTI.
5. Would prefer AWD. But FWD is fine too. No requirements on power. I am going to be commuting 60+ miles every day in this thing so it needs to be comfy.

What kind of price range are you thinking?
Also, someone needs to shop the poor girl's eyes closer together.
How exactly do you expect a car that's cheaper or better value than a premium Euro to have the same prestige as a premium Euro? Why exactly does the car need to be this small? New or used? What budget?

Don't care if it's new or used. It has to be that size because the garage in which I park it has a very narrow alley way so it's impossible to navigate anything bigger than a CT200H or a Mazda3 hatch in there.

Looks to me like you just want a CT200H
