1. Has to have the interior luxury, ride quality, safety, and prestige of a European brand like BMW/Benz
2. Can not be as unreliable or have as poor of value retention as a BMW/Benz
3. Would consider a Volvo or Volkswagen if there was objective evidence that it's on par with the Japanese big four in terms of reliability and maintenance-ease
4. Needs to be the same size or smaller as a Mazda3 hatch, WRX STI, Type R, CT200H, or Golf GTI.
5. Would prefer AWD. But FWD is fine too. No requirements on power. I am going to be commuting 60+ miles every day in this thing so it needs to be comfy.

Don't care if it's new or used. It has to be that size because the garage in which I park it has a very narrow alley way so it's impossible to navigate anything bigger than a CT200H or a Mazda3 hatch in there.
