anyone have tips on finding an auction?

I have a dealer that emails me lists to every auction in AL, GA, and FL - thousands of cars each. You don't happen to live in one of these states, do you?

Well, I just got an email today about upcoming auctions at [ ATLANTA, TAMPA & FT LAUDERDALE ] totalling 6,000 cars between them.

Email this guy [ [email protected] ], explain that you're interested in auction lists and he'll add you. He's in Montgomery, AL and adds $500 on top of auction prices, but it'll at least get you the lists. I got an STi with 5k miles on it for just 22k this way.

Anything in particular you're looking for? They're generally newish lease returns or unsold dealers cars but there are occasional nice things from various years mixed in.
