Do motor home's make good donor cars for V8 swaps, I can't find the exact model and engine of this one.

I've heard most are cammed for low end torque and power. Nothing a few overnight parts from Jegs won't fix. Keep in mind most are going to be clapped out from dragging along 10k lbs their whole life and will likely need a rebuild.
Good source of blocks and low mile internals you dont actually want.
Probably the least efficient way to get a motor you don't want unless your getting paid to remove it. Atleast then youll have a motor you don't want and might break even on ditching all that fiberglass and wood.

Looks like a dodge, I'd say 318 is the most common. Might have gotten lucky with a 360

Gonna have to diagree.
In my experience older rvs would be more common with small big blocks with low compression and poor cams just aimed at torque to get that fat ass rolling.

Generally RVs will come with at minimum the larger displacement small blocks but most came with big blocks. Ford 460, Chevy 454 and dodge 440.
For Mopar guys RVs are a cheap and available source for 440s to cram into cars
Roadkill did an episode on this but depending on design getting the engine out could be a bitch
The Dodge Vans did not get the 440 till 1978 or 1979. All year prior are 318.
Keep your goddam grubby mitts off our homes op.
