Hey /o/, I'm comfortable driving and doing basic maintenance on my car, but as someone who wants to get more into cars, I find myself getting lost when talk gets into the specifics of things. You could show me how something works and I'd understand it, but then when you start talking cambers, drive shafts, etc I get kinda lost. So I come to you today to ask: where did you learn all your car lingo / knowledge?

you need to decide what kind of car guy you want to be;
stance fag
ricer fag
track day fag
drag racer fag
luxury car fag
bus rider fag
eco fag
engine fag
Then you need to decide which brand of car you pledge your undying loyalty to.
This is very much like supporting a football team. Once you've decided on one brand you're locked in for life and must defend them no matter how shit they really are.
Once you know your fag type and have established a brand loyalty, type it into google images and pick your forum avatar.
Sign up to every internet forum dedicated your specific brand and model of vehicle, use the same avatar and user name on each forum (remember to put your car make, model, year, trim level and any mods you've made into your signature)
Ask a load of retard noob questions and reply to threads from five or six years ago.
Bonus points if you quote everything the other guys said, including all pictures and previous quotes and only leave a comment along the lines of "lol", "nice", or "I have this too!".

I learned almost all of it on my own, pulling shit apart researching shit, reading car magazines.
