USA driving tests are the easiest and cheapest. Some states watered down their driving exams due to racism lawsuits (california). My state wanted to make it harder to pass due to the statistically large number of teens getting into accidents. But people complained that tougher exams would stop people from being able to work, so the legislators didn't push the DOL to update the exams.

I only got dinged on the parallel parking. I never hit anything, but took a bunch of wiggles back and forth since I didn't want to curb the alloy rims. The performance tires do not have those ballooning sidewalls that protect the rims.

In the 1990's, US News & World Report magazine published that the university of california system had a SAT score of 800 required for american blacks and a minimum score of 1200 for american asians to be students. That's a 50% difference reflective of how blacks graduate from high schools with lower requirements than whites. Basically if they are breathing and not kicked out for criminal activity, they get a high school diploma. If there is equality, shouldn't that begin in education?

This example of college entry requirements is a relevant example to the automobile license requirements problem. Because of prevailing anti-racism sentiments, it is difficult to make driver requirements more stringent without accusations of racism.

It's why driver exams are fairly cursory in the USA. Thus drivers are shitty. Only personal pride has drivers perform to higher standards than what the driver license exam requires.
