there's a decent WRX wagon for sale near me for 7400 with 94,000 miles. Does anyone think its a worthy buy? Obviously ill negotiate price down.

It sounds good... but these engines get beat to all hell constantly. 120-150k is about as far as it'll go before needing an overhaul or replacement.

If you're ok with only having 2-3 years of life in the car, go for it and budget out the $2k for a swap when you lose compression.
