If you want a small SUV on a budget, get a 4 door Tracker. Blazers are apocalyptically bad, I wouldn't even jokingly recommend them to a stranger on the Internet.

Pros
The 4.3 ltr is bulletproof.
The 4L60E is a great trans
The transfer case is gear driven
They are comfortable and parts are cheap
Cons
Oil cooler lines leak. The replacements will leak in 6 months
Trans cooler lines leak. The replacements will leak in 6 months.
Non gm water pumps last a yr maybe.
The 4x4 system is vacuum driven and likes to leak.
The 2 doors tend to rot and the spare tire arm will fucking destroy the quarter panel the first time it gets away from you.
Door pins and bushings, get used to replacing them.
The front end joints need grease. If you don't grease them the linkage wears quickly.
About as much as you can expect from a older vehicle

If you got the money buy a trailblazer with the 4.2 inline 6.
It's a much better truck

you are fucking high on crack
the LM6 or whatever 6cyl. engine they throw in there the trailblazer is a fucking pile.
its not unreliable, but there are a few components which require you to pull the entire engine to change. this is a common gripe with the engine.
also, this engine in not popular, not like all the other LM/LS engines.
parts cost a shit ton
rebuilt/reman have a 1200-2000$ additional price slapped on.
a quality reman for that engine costs 6k no core, as apposed to the popular v8's which cost 2500-3000$

Don't be a bitch and just buy a Tahoe. You'll thank me later.
