>why would you ever want to live in a 1st world country?
I'm curious as to why you wouldn't? I live in Brazil and while I'm not poor, I'm not exactly rolling in money. The standards of living are much better in first world countries and you have more opportunities with jobs. But then again if you're the 1% that are born into wealth, I guess it doesn't matter what country you live in, even if it is a third world.

the problem with brazil is that it's too unsafe, but look at places like urugay, panama, costa rica and argentina.

life is much much better there, believing that you magically become more wealthy if you live in the first world is straight up naive.

It's not really the wealth, but the standards of living. More jobs, more competent police force, and mainly the government actually tries to look out for the people. I know people are going to say that the USA government isn't exactly the crown jewel of the world, but when you compare my country's government, they are much more competent. My government would rather spend 12 billion dollars on the olympics rather than help its citizens. Police would rather rush into drug controlled areas with guns blazing, dragging every family in the area down in gun fire because they can't think of a safer method. I'm getting off topic, so polite sage.

more wealth doesn't really matter when the wealth disparity is as bad as in the 3rd world, competent police force is not necessarily a good thing either, again, on countries where violence is not the norm, a strict police is not necessarily a good thing, look at certain countries in europe and asia where you cannot modify cars and is really hard to bribe cops

>Threatening 25% of the US crude supply
My fellow citizens, events in Canada have now reached the final days of decision. For more than a week, the United States and other nations have pursued patient and honorable efforts to disarm the Canadian regime without war. That regime pledged to reveal and destroy all its strategic syrup reserves as a condition for ending the War of 1812.

Since then, the world has engaged in 203 years of diplomacy. We have passed more than a dozen resolutions in the United Nations Security Council. We have sent hundreds of food inspectors to oversee the syrup disposal of Canada. Our good faith has not been returned.

We are now acting because the risks of inaction would be far greater. In one year, or five years, the power of Canada to inflict un-syrupy blandness on all free nations' breakfasts would be multiplied many times over. With these capabilities, Justin Trudeau and his terrorist allies could choose the moment of deadly hunger when they are strongest. We choose to meet that threat now, where it arises, before it can appear suddenly on our waffles and pancakes.

The United States, with other countries, will work to advance liberty and peace in that region. Our goal will not be achieved overnight, but it can come over time. The power and appeal of syrup liberty is felt in every life and every land. And the greatest power of freedom is to overcome tyranny and low-calorie syrup alternatives, and turn the creative gifts of men and women to the pursuits of peace.

That is the future we choose. Free nations have a duty to defend our people by uniting against the violent. And tonight, as we have done before, America and our allies accept that responsibility.

Good night, and may God continue to bless America.

-t. Donald Trump

>>
>>17556913

Your specific case is almost twice over the minimum. European governments like (regressive) taxes that cover everything. It lets them spend more on badly made IT programs that will never work properly, until they are replaced. For paying less fuel tax, the best strategy is to have it lowered to the minimum, and then push hard to get the minimum lowered.

But it won't work, because everyone in Europe wants electric cars and they think getting cucked personally and collectively through rising logistics costs is the way to get them.

USA like always is an edgy faggot and uses scale different from everyone

United States: in the US octane rating is displayed in AKI. In most areas, the standard grades are 87, 89-90 and 91-94 AKI. In the Rocky Mountain (high elevation) states, 85 AKI (90 RON) is the minimum octane, and 91 AKI (95 RON) is the maximum octane available in fuel. The reason for this is that in higher-elevation areas, a typical naturally aspirated engine draws in less air mass per cycle because of the reduced density of the atmosphere. This directly translates to less fuel and reduced absolute compression in the cylinder, therefore deterring knock. It is safe to fill a carbureted car that normally takes 87 AKI fuel at sea level with 85 AKI fuel in the mountains, but at sea level the fuel may cause damage to the engine. However, since virtually all cars produced since the mid-1980s have fuel injection, 85 AKI fuel is not recommended for modern automobiles and may cause damage to the engine and decreased performance. Another disadvantage to this strategy is that most turbocharged vehicles are unable to produce full power, even when using the "premium" 91 AKI fuel. In some east coast states, up to 94 AKI (98 RON) is available. As of January, 2011, over 40 states and a total of over 2500 stations offer ethanol-based E-85 fuel with 94-96 AKI. Often, filling stations near US racing tracks will offer higher octane levels such as 100 AKI .

Canada needs as much oil money as they can get. The decline in oil prices has taken the CAD from being at parity to being only 1 CAD = ~0.75 USD.

>>17556876
Correct. Even if you go above the average in Cali right now and go $3 USD/gallon, that's 3.00 USD / 3.78541 liters to the gallon = 0.7925 cents to the liter USD, which actually converts to exactly 1 australian dollar per liter.

Most of the US pays less, the national average is $2.25 per gallon regular unleaded right now.
>>
>>17558392 here
By the way, Tennessee averages $2.02 a gallon right now, and I suspect OP has artificially lowered the prices of all pumps by using a savings program.
