Life is boring.
Take risks.
Miss out on riding a bike so I can live for a going to work 5 days a week and having to talk to stupid people who I don't like for the rest of my life?
No thanks.
>at what point were you forced to get a car?
Actually it's the opposite way, I'm forced to start a bike garage because a car garage would simply be too costly and space demanding for me, including all the tools involved. Cars you need lifts and specialized equipment for, all the parts are hidden away behind layers of bullshit. A bike you push onto a few stacked pallets and just go to work on. Also bikes are a fraction of the purchase and running costs (especially compared to cars that offer the same level of excitement) and take up a fraction of the space.
