So most of the cars sold in India are made (or at least assembled) in India.
Including BMW/Mercedes/Audi.

They are really good at making cars for their own country. Tata makes most of it's cars for the Indian market but most of their sales are commercial vehciles rather than family cars. Maruti Suzuki currently dominates the market. They make millions of hatchbacks for the Indian market. Thus, giving India the nick name "The Land Of Hatchbacks"

Yes, Tata seems to be a quality megacorp company, and they are very socially responsible as well.

The 390 Duke and G310R are some good examples of pretty nice low-cost motorcycles for the world market that are built in India, but Tata is also behind the F-Type Jaguar.

There is a lot of pajeet slandering, especially on /g/. Much of it is justified, but Tata seems like an exceptional company.
