I.. Uh.. actually why aren't water (coolant) filters a thing on cars? I've drained my coolant system into a bucket and the nastiest looking shit poured out. After sitting there was thick residue settled at the bottom. I know that shit is all over in the heater core and everything. Why don't you have a coolant filter to change at regular intervals as well?
