IMO, the Chevy Volt is the best car for $15,000. Depending on your driving habits, you may go tens of thousands of miles without getting gas. In my case, the cost of electricity has been so low, we notice no difference on our electricity bill.

I have had first hand experience with a 2013 model for a year and a half.
