People only dislike it because it's not exactly the same as the old one. Only reason I see thrown around is REEEE hybird and REEEE it's not muh NA simple honda with engine behind me.
Funny thing is most of the people bitching have probably never driven an old NSX, let alone the new one. I mean I love the old NSX and admire how it did it, but honestly most of the hate stems from the fact they used the NSX name. Ironically I bet if they called it something else more people would be fine with it, and some of them would probably even wonder why they didn't call it the NSX.
Worst gen is best gen
I love these little cars
Dunno why but I never see people talking about these.

The party piece of the Envoy is that you can convert it from SUV to truck. You can slide the rear of the roof forwards, retract the tailgate window and erect a midgate behind the seats.

the PT CRUISER is my guilty pleasure. Fucking tons of room and comfy. Good visibility and handling is very good given the size. The engine is bulletproof and stock internals will handle 300+hp.
And personally, I think they look cute.
>>17540802
I like it more now that then, I used to think of it as a cheaper uglier Aston, but it's aged far better. I'm forcing myself not to buy one.

>>17541169
>The engine in bulletproof
>The stock internals can handle 300+hp
You're an ignorant buffoon. The PT cruiser is a shit heap, plain and simple. I know these shitboxes like the back of my hand. Why? Because they're notoriously fragile, and anything that can break will break on them, it's that simple.
It's not unheard of for trannies to blow, motors to die spontaneously, and shit like torque/catalytic converters to one day just give up on life.
I would never recommend a PT to anybody, even if it were free. It's a terribly unreliable car.

In it's time, the original NSX was lauded as one of the best driving experiences you could get regardless of price. Honda set the bar for themselves really fucking high, then after the constant delays, people idolizing the old one, and ridiculous overhype there was no way in hell anyone would be happy with the new one unless it had a 700hp NA V12 and started at $15,000.
Personally I don't really have an opinion, I've had about 5000 miles in an old one but never even sat in a new one so really all I can comment on is the way it looks.

That's because the PT GT has the powertrain of the Neon SRT4. That's an engine and drivetrain built by SRT which are the only fuckers over at Dodge that know how to build something proper.
The base engines and transmissions have major issues. For the same reason the Neon SRT4 is a substantially better AND more reliable car than it's base model counterpart.
And AutoXing a PT GT is probably the most stupid use for that car. The only reason to have a PT GT is to be able to race mustangs and WRXs at stoplights and win.

The only people I've seen driving coupe M3s are businessmen. Like a dude at my office, you're 75 years old why the fuck do you need a hardcore M3 (he has it in auto also btw).
He could've got a fully specced comfy sedan 3 series with the same engine, or a lower specced 5 series for that. But no, muh M3, muh sport.

Wait isn't that a nissan juke?
>>17539367
the Volvo c30's inline 5 is designed and made by volvo, Ford simply plopped it into the eu spec focus mk2
C30s arent overpriced either. they're ford-era volvos, so their depreciation makes them pretty good deals actually
also not a kammback
>>17551598
>presumably
Can't you read?
And yeah, I'm pretty sure the C30 classifies as a kammback.
/o/ seems pretty polarized on S10s
>>17552912
The S10's first gen Wikipedia image is pure comfy.
>>17552923
I'll take the doggo please

>>17552912

back when these were only like 5 years old in highschool, one kid had one and it was one of the fastest cars in our class.
me and my friend stole it at a party and hooned around, it was a blats.
i dont know why but i like this early/mid 2000s Subaru

>>17552333
Another C30 owner here, nope it aint a kammback, kammbacks have flat cut backs, the back the back in the c30 is in a 45 degree slope and its curved too
It is either a shooting break or just a hatchback
The S60 though is a kammback
>>17541837
Also love them, but I know they are either pristine V6s with plastic all over it or niggered out and abused V8s
There is one in my town, dont know what engine, but its quite neglected and the bumper paint is burned (guess the car sat out in the garage with its ass outside of the shade)
Such a shame
>>17550151
I have wanted one of these for so long. That silhouette does terrible things to my benis.
>>17542097
I thought hating the Hellcat was a meme?
dollar for dollar, this is the best shitbox you can buy
>cheap to buy
>cheap & easy to maintain
>fast
>reliable
>dat vq30
literally the only department this car lacks in is looks
As an owner, im biased, obviously, but thats why i bought one.
man id love a manual v6 maxima
>>17553681
Its pretty neat having one. Most people dont even know they're available in manual. However I will say it is the car to own if you hate attention. It doesn't break necks nor does it pique anyones interest, but thats part of why its cool imo
>>17538413
Was my first car too and loved it. Wouldve keept it if the condition wasnt as shit.
>>17540368
I thought those things were the coolest car ever when I was a kid. They looked like something out of a futuristic sci-fi movie.
Had an Aerostar throughout college. Everyone like to rag on it for being ugly -- until their apartment lease was up and they needed help moving.
>>17553071
lol so did I. 85 2.8 4 speed.
I like the Edsel, though a few people also like them. I haven't seen anyone else comment on the Hudson Hornet, which can be picked up relatively cheaply if it still has the I6
>>17538421
>T. Never driven any of these cars
>>17540118
my parent's envoy never did that. the rear air suspension did stop working though
Someday I'm going to get one and turbo the shit out of it

Gremlin, Pacer, Hornet, Matador coupe
> thing for odd rods

I want one as my first car but my friend told me his engine exploded so I'm not too sure about it.
Does putting in regular gas while it only takes premium gas cause it to self detonate ?
>>17555781
It can lead to pre-ignition, where the fuel ignites before the spark plug fires. This can cause massive damage to an engine.
If an owners manual say to sue premium fuel, use fucking premium. But if it says to use regular than putting premium in it won't hurt the car, but it's also wasted money because it won't do anything unless you tune the computer for it.
>>17555807
So basically if the car has had premium gases used all the time it should be perfectly fine Car to buy.
Is buying one for $1,000 suspicious sounding?
>>17555847
no. They're ridiculously cheap because no one thinks much about them just make sure to read the manual, ask them which type of fuel they used, and ask about the maintenance history. Also, don't buy from niggers. Niggers love those cars and refuse to do any maintenance because "ain't nobody got money fo dat"
>>17555887
I'm located in NYC so I'll try and find non nigga car, thanks for input m8
Pontiac Aztec, I'd take one any day
Any car from the 70s. Even if they were considered ugly or shit, like the Pinto.

owner again
everything this anon said is correct. I also recommend picking up an original user manual. I found one in a junkyard, lots of useful information that id never have known if i didnt see it in there. Get a haynes manual as well.
i got mine for $1200, 5 speed, 120k miles, one owner. all it needed was an alternator, a new exhaust and some emissions related solenoids replaced. Definitely a a great deal but its not unheard of on these cars.
Most of the massive spawn of '90s GM sedans and coupes that were all related in an incest storm of badge-engineering.

I used to love these, I seriously shopped around for a baja xt a few yesrs back
>>17542502
You could at least fanboy the Isuzu Impulse
>>17540045
W210 wagons are the shit. They look so "strictly business".
Also they're cheap as all fuck, I'm seriously considering getting one for like 3k with less than 100k miles and a bulletproof vee ate.
>>17558149
i secretly really like how these looks
only thing that bothers me is the center-most light housings are plastic instead of glass so they fade
>>17538993
Seeing one of these in person at a car show, I'm convinced the new NSX is one of the prettiest cars in recent memory. Pictures really don't do it justice.
>>17558673
yeah it's 90s as fuck
