I want both, but more on the comfort side. The old E class didn't offer as much as the 5er, so it was the 5er who made it.
And Audi doesn't count. The a6 is as comfortable as a golf.

The new G30 5 series is leaps and bounds better. Equally as comfortable as the F10 but BMW got their head out of their ass and took some criticism to heart and actually made it fun to drive again.
