so my gfs dad has a clean e30 325is with a busted auto trans, roughly how much do you think I'd have to put in to it to swap it over to a manual?

There's an old saying that starts with the words "if you have to ask the question"

>shop
>not doing it yourself
what are you doing on /o/
>>17531044
but that's how you learn
>>17531033
Are you doing the work yourself? 260 Getrags are not that expensive and you could probably source the pedal box, driveshaft, and new clutch kit, guibo, and master/slaves for under a thousand. Double that if you get someone else to do it.
The Pedal box might be the hardest part, you'll have to drill a hole for the master cylinder.

1k would be bare enough to cover all the parts needed, unless you have a buddy willing to do it for a couple of 6 packs the labor is going to be pricey.

>the labor is going to be pricey.
I dont know what you are doing on /o/

If you're planning on doing it yourself with parts might be around 1.5k if you go to a shop it will be double that
