I'm looking to do some long distance driving (cross Canada / US) and I recently came across this 4Runner for 4k CAD, 150k km. The problem is I don't know how much rust is too much? I'm looking to keep it for maybe 3yrs max. I took some pictures of the undercarriage and front bumper. What do you think?

It's fine as long as the frame isn't cracked from rust. I had a '99 ford expedition that was stored for 5 years on canadas east coast and was 80% rust , but the frame was fine so it had no issues.

i have a 4runner thats still running strong after 250k (miles). It's a great buy if its $5000> even with the rust
