How good was the C4 ZR1, Could it turn with few simple mods?

Engine designed by Lotus but that's really the only catch

A base C4 has more potential for (cheaper) mods with its stock LT1, the purpose of buying a C4 ZR1 would be for the novelty. Until GM jumps to the OHC bandwagon, their few OHC cars will never be cheap to mod

What mods would you do to an LT1 just bolt ons? Would you even make same power, I'd like to believe the suspension is much better too but technology has advanced so you could get much better nowadays I guess

They suffer from typical C4 faults like electronics. other than that its a car that feels very fucking powerful even to this day.

Engine was built by Murcury Marine so no need expect engine reliability similar to other lotus.

What makes you think a C4 can't corner? Have you seen the size of the tires on a C4 ZR1? They have grip for days. Hell, the tires, suspension and brakes from the ZR1 went to the 96 Grand Sport, hailed as one of the best handling Vettes of all time
