Hey /o/.
I am thinking about buying a 350z at the end of the summer, which is when I'll have enough money for it. I a newfag.
Think it's a good car for a beginner?

I didn't notice that thread. Here's an ass to increase the quality of my thread. No way the other guy can compete with me now!

How much will you have by end of summer? Consider insurance will be expensive and tires will be used up quick
>>17518324
If everything goes well, around 10k. But I have to import the car from Japan since I live in Europe (costs me around 5 to 6k total). Where I live, the Nissan 350z costs 15k. My father is willing to put himself as the driver for insurance, he's been driving for 30 years so I am hoping prices will be way lower?
> tires will be used up quick
Even if I don't drift? (I plan to, once I get good at just driving like a normal person)

You're going to spend alot of money for a shitty example 350z that you will probably end up destroying. Do some research on RX8's they're dirt cheap just finicky with maintenance. I'd suggest a 3k civic but it will just go out the other ear

What about 240sx, FCs, MR2, E36 and all the cheapo cars? The 3kcivic is a sensible choice, but that car is an eye sore to look at.
How much should you make a year to afford having a 350z?

Mr2 or e36 is good choice too, you want a 2007+ 350z with under 80k miles but that'll be out of budget. Better yet just spend your money on cleanest mr2 you can find, good on gas, insurance, maintenance

Gonna have a look now, thanks for the whistle
>>17518388
Awesome, I love the looks of the MR2! I think I can import a decent one from the UK for 4k

Just know one thing anon, good drifters have bad days too. Can you afford a fuckup?
>>17518411
I am going to buy a cheapo 600cc dual sport bike soon, just about done getting my licence. My work is close by, so hopefully that'll be enough to get me covered if my car breaks down.
In terms of money, I only make around 30k to 40k a year atm. Hopefully that's enough to test the waters drifting?
>>17518427
Could be, goodluck Mikhail hope you find a nice Mr2!

Thank you, Anon!

Fuck no. Low/wide stance will be hard to park and maneuver. Tricky clutch for a noob. Pretty much useless in the Winter and skittish in the rain.
Just get a goddamn Mustang. 05-09 GT should be affordable, easier to drive, way more practical, and still plenty of fun. You'll be fine as long as you remember not to floor it while turning. Don't be a meme.

Believe me, if I was in the US I would buy one in a heartbeat. How much do they run for in the the states?
