Combination of 0 actual car knowledge and thirst for car to be faster = cheap Chinese bodykits and erector set wings on front wheel drive cars. Also dem mirror taillights tho. It boils down to ignorance. Talk to ricers at meets the car passion is there but the fundamental knowledge about cars/performance isn't. desu i can appreciate nearly every car subculture other than people who want further self driving cars because they actively dislike driving.

I don't know if I'm the only one but I'm fine with ricey looking vehicles if they just want to have a nice looking car however when they say shit like "it's for downforce bro!" About the 200 dollar Chinese body kit they just put on that's where I tell them to fuck off

Rice i don't get either, but if you don't card about amenities you can usually mod a cheap car to be pretty fast for less than a beemer or whatever.
