So, I have this horse trailer that is pretty basic but works just fine. I noticed the connector from the trailer (7 pin) to the truck was in bad shape and most of the connectors were loose (literally hanging from 1 wire) and I don't know how can I test each wire to see what each does so that I can put them in the pin they belong to. Sadly for me, the wiring works but it's a mess, so I can't follow color codes for this one, I must test every wire.
And that's the question guys, how am I supposed to test the wiring to know what does each wire?
there are test probes that deliver 12v, those you can use to power the light it corresponds to. follow wiring diagram for correct wiring order and assemble in order. the end. don't forget to solder.

Really? Then the first thing I need to do is find the one that sends 12v and with that test each pin, right? Do I need anything else to not fuck things up?
