So i decided i want to be a nigger and install subwoofers on my 07 avalanche
Now my truck has the stock GPS screen stereo which i really like and dont want to get rid of, but a dude told me if i want subs im going to have to get an aftermarket headunit
So my question is, can i install subs and keep my stock stereo, and if i can will the bass be severely hindered?

chances are you're going to buy a separate amp to power the sub. if you do, which only makes sense, then the current headunit is fine. If you're going to try to run the power from the headunit to the sub, then ur a full african nigger and no headunit is going to make a sub like pic related sound good.
